Tate Britain is Britain’s art gallery. It is a celebration of the past, present and future of British art.
The gallery houses the national collection of British art from 1500 to the present day. The collection includes over 70,000 artworks by more than 3,000 artists and grows every year.
Since the opening of Tate Modern, the public image of Tate Britain has suffered. It is assumed that the gallery showcases older, traditional artwork that Tate Modern wouldn't display.
In this campaign, Tate Britain is presented in a series of vibrant posters which feature teaser images of the vast collection, encouraging the viewer to go and discover it for themselves.
